Fuel Saving Tips |
| |
1.Please avoid sudden acceleration
and deceleration: 20%-45% extra fuel can be possibly consumed. A
sudden acceleration for 5km/h speed increase will consume 20% extra
fuel, and another 20% extra fuel will be cost for another
deceleration which decreases 5km/h speed after acceleration. |
2.Please avoid high speed. Except for
regular driving which is under the speed limit, 10% extra fuel will
be cost for every 10 km/h increase in speed. |
3.When starting from stop, please do not accelerate
with a rush. 20% extra fuel can be cost. This action also produces
noise and pollution. |
4.When deceleration or parking will be needed (e.g.
approaching a red light), please release the accelerator in advance
and let the car slow down naturally. |
5.Please shut down the car if long time parking is
needed. It is also advisable to park your car in a dark cool place. |
6.Please avoid over speed. 80-90 km/h is the most
economical driving speed in highway. |
7.Please check your tires regularly to make sure they
are well pressured. Low tire pressure will consume more fuel. |
8.If possible, please do not put unnecessary articles
on the car, so as to reduce the total weight of the car as well as
fuel consumption. |
9.When sliding a downward slope or turning, a lower
transmission gear is recommended and both engine brake and brake
pedal should be used simultaneously. |
